What we are seeing in the market is a growing trend of Partners looking at planning their exit strategy, sourcing and looking for that right person. We are also seeing movement from Gen Y accountants looking at smaller firms to fast track their career.

There are many firms thinking of economies of scale and sole directors looking to leverage off similar firm set ups.

Only last week we were approached by 4 different firms wanting us at Accounting Practices to structure an exit strategy moving forward, we are currently working with 8 firms on succession planning.

We are still seeing the market model of purchasing a practice based on "cents or % in the dollar based on gross fees!
